Jim CaJacob
Mr. CaJacob is president of Information Concepts, Inc., an Oregon-based consulting and information systems development company founded in 1979.
Relevant client experience:
Sprint Led the business process engineering and technical development of a comprehensive online reference environment for one of the largest start-ups in corporate history. The environment employs advanced Oracle, HTML, Java and Java Script technologies. It provides a multimedia knowledge base for several thousand users across the United States . Managed development of a comprehensive supply chain management system for the new Spree ! prepaid telephone card business. Employed Powerbuilder and Oracle client-server technologies. The system's modular and scalable design has supported the growth of the business from a start-up to nine-digit annual revenue. Designed and implemented data warehousing applications, containing hundreds of millions of data records. These provide critical decision support information.
Corning Consumer Products Designed and implemented a comprehensive Consumer Information system for this leading marketer of housewares. The system, used to handle several thousand calls per week, captures feedback from consumers regarding the quality, performance, use and care of Corning 's products, routing feedback to the appropriate people in the Quality Assurance, Marketing, Legal and other departments.
BP Amoco Led the re-engineering of and development of new information systems for all supply chain functions in the Fabrics and Fibers Division. These initiatives resulted in a double digit percentage improvement in annual profitability of the division. Nextel Designed new processes, procedures and information systems to support the company's Help Center function. Designed the business processes required to support the company's retail marketing activities, including an improved method for provisioning handsets.
Abbott Laboratories Lead the company's efforts in developing value-added systems for hospitals including EDI, Materials Management, Pharmacy and Scheduling.
Background and Education:
Prior to joining Information Concepts in 1981, CaJacob worked in the Sales and Logistics departments of the food divisions of Amfac and Alexander and Baldwin. He was Sales Forecasting manager for the Food Division of Borden, Inc. He has a BS in French from the State University of New York. CaJacob is a member of the adjunct faculty of the Logistics Institute of Georgia Tech University. He speaks fluent French and can conduct business in Italian and Spanish.
Polly Riley
Polly joined ICI in 1987. She leads our Sprint development team. Polly is a versatile software engineer and is skilled in several technical environments. She and her family enjoy sled dog racing.
Just Joplin
Just joined ICI as a contractor in 2004. He is an expert Oracle developer. He also developed the eConnectus collaboration tool that ICI uses ( www.econnectus.com ).
Geoff Haley
Geoff has worked with ICI since the 1980s. He is the overall ICI project manager, as well as engagement management for selected clients. He and Jim met in the Air Force in chilly Amarillo , Texas in 1968. Geoff is an avid student of history.
Lanny Cook
Lanny joined ICI in 1987. He concentrates on database design and managing the transfer of information into client databases. Lanny has designed and is building a home that uses active solar power. Lanny is a baseball player (real and virtual) and fan.
Justin Redd
Justin began working with ICI in 1997, after graduating from Carlton College . Justin leads our Java development activities.
Thor Erickson
Thor joined ICI in 2004. He is responsible for administration of our project activities, using our web collaboration tool. Thor is a chef and an actor, active in the local theater scene.
Susan Straub
Susan is a lead designer. She joined ICI in 1993. A former ski instructor, she enjoys telemark skiing and mountain biking.
Dilun Ho
Dilun is a web designer. He has worked with ICI since 2002. He is a sushi chef and graphical artist.
Steve Worshtil
Steve is responsible for user and technical documentation. He has worked with ICI since the mid-1990s. He is a professional musician, composer and arranger.
Pat Zeh
Pat joined ICI in 2001. She is our bookkeeper. Pat enjoys nature walks and beachcombing on the beautiful Oregon coast.
